Motion to Suppress Granted; CASE DISMISSED

Defendant consented to a search of a home in which he was located.  During the search, law enforcement located several weapons, almost half a million dollars worth of narcotics, and a large amount of U.S. currency.  The Issa Law Firm filed a motion to suppress all of this evidence.  The Issa Law Firm argued that because the police lied about their reason for being at the house, Defendant’s consent was not voluntary.  The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia agreed and suppressed all evidence found during the search.  The United States’ attorney then dismissed all charges.
