$185,000 Settlement from Tractor-Trailer Collision

Client was injured in a motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer. In the early morning hours, a tractor trailer carrying sod attempted a u-turn on a 2 lane road in Conyers, Georgia. While the tractor trailer was attempting its turn, our client drove with his headlights on towards the tractor trailer that was blocking the entire roadway. Since the tractor trailer driver failed to place road markers to indicate its presence, and because the tractor trailer was dark, our client could not see it and ultimately drove under the trailer. Liability was heavily disputed, but there was no denying that our client was injured and required surgery.
